Acceptable Use Policy

This policy applies to anyone who uses AutoSter. It supplements our Terms & Conditions and explains what we consider acceptable and unacceptable behaviour.
Prohibited listings
- Vehicles you do not legally own or are not entitled to sell.
- Stolen, cloned, ringed or Cat A / Cat B written-off vehicles.
- Vehicles without disclosure of accident damage, Cat S / Cat N status or outstanding finance.
- Vehicles being sold by dealers or motor traders (AutoSter is private-only).
- Anything illegal to sell in the UK.
Prohibited behaviour
- Fraud, scams, phishing or attempts to obtain payment off-platform under false pretences.
- Harassment, hate speech, threats or discrimination against any user.
- Sharing other users’ personal data without consent.
- Posting links to malicious software or external scam sites.
- Attempting to bypass our security, rate limits or moderation.
- Scraping or bulk-downloading listings without our written permission.
Reporting abuse
If you see a suspicious listing or message, please report it via the listing page or email abuse@autoster.uk. We aim to review reports within 1 working day.
Enforcement
We may remove content, suspend accounts, or refer matters to law enforcement (including Action Fraud) where appropriate. Serious or repeated breaches will result in a permanent ban.
